Welcome to the Merley Stop the War Campaign Website
The Merley Stop the War Campaign was started on the 10th March 2003. We are a group of teenagers who refuse to stand by and watch Bush and Blair ruin our futures. We hope that you enjoy visiting our Website and we hope that you may join us. We are based in Merley, though we welcome any new members from around the Poole and Wimborne area.
Our Views at a Glance
We do relise that Saddam Hussein is a brutal killer, but we believe that this is not the time to be going to war with him. We feel that our efforts should be concentrated on catching Osama Bin Laden and stopping all forms of terrorism that threaten our way of life. Saddam has been contained for 12 years without any major problems. We believe that the Weapons Inspectors were doing their jobs and disarming Iraq peacefully. We believe that America has hidden agendas and we believe Oil is one of them. Our views are further explained on our 'Views Page'.		 Dorset Stop the War Coalition
We are quite a small group and therefore affiliate ourselves to the Dorset Stop the War Coalition. We follow there cause and make all are descisions based on there's. We recently marched with them and hundreds of others in Bournemouth on 15th March 2003. There Website address is on our 'Links and Contact Page'.
